Mina Foundation was founded and established in 2023. It is a carer led organisation, bringing individuals together who have personal and lived experiences in caring for a family member in the final stages of congestive heart and renal failure. 

Our Foundation is a beacon of hope for carers and families facing the challenges of a chronic health condition, cultural and socioeconomic barriers. We are a community organisation that provides essential tailored informal support, information and engagement. 

With our dedicated support and compassionate approach, we aim to empower individuals and communities to thrive in their daily lives, while helping to overcome challenges in inequalities and access to mainstream services.

Our approach is based on respect and dignity, understanding needs based on lifestyle, culture, challenges and preferences. We believe in helping people, who may have to make significant changes in their lives, after receiving a diagnoses, and those who provide care. We will strive to achieve a climate in which individuals and families receive excellent information, fair care and support.
